Interests in Rhetoric and Design:
I was the Editor of the largest section in my high school’s yearbook. This experience made me realize my calling for English and attention to detail in terms of grammar, editing, and page layout. I even had the opportunity to design a few pages in terms of text and picture boxes. I was also able to leverage the rhetorical abilities I learned in my AP English class the previous year. These particular skills will come in handy in any job I get in the future because rhetoric strengthens any discussion.
Career Aspirations:
- Get an internship by the summer after my junior year
- Decide which branch of the English field I want to pursue
- Make business connections
- Acquire a job I love and am interested in doing day after day
